The Tachineputa lantern floats tower some 20 meters. This is your chance to join in the fun and experience these awesome floats up close. The mystical sight they present at night is not to be missed. Don’t miss this special summer experience!

【Content】: Start off from the Tachineputa-no-Yakata in Goshogawara City! Experience the parade as a member, pulling the titanic float! Normally, this is a privilege reserved for locals, but on one day only, you too can experience the special feeling of elation that you can only experience at this festival, surrounded by the magical nighttime scenes of illuminated Tachineputa floats.

Enjoy a guided tour along the route of the of old Tsugaru Forest Railway, part of the legacy of Japan’s modernization, which lies in the forests of Oku-Tsugaru. The Aomori hiba forests here are considered to be among the three most beautiful types of forest in Japan.

To make your country lifestyle experience more enjoyable, we provide “glamping” sites on the grounds of Kanagi Genki Village. After enjoying the surrounding nature to the full, you’ll stay overnight in a tent. This should make your visit a little more interesting. For dinner, you can have local dishes in the Hinaya Teahouse. Baths are available nearby at the main house of Genki Village. The sound of insects, the moonlight, and the starry skies will make this a memorable stay.
